Those who successfully manage to defeat a Xyrian are rewarded with exceptionally rare artifacts (i.e., Weapons, Armor, or some precious Items), adding a tantalizing incentive to engage with this new threat. And finally, there are possible conflicts between the Xyrians and other alien races, which can be used to your advantage.
